 Gorgeous morning this morning ☀️ Penny and I arrived early and headed over to the far field to do some tree work, checking the tree tubes, removing grass from around the bottom and sorting and tubes that needed sorted. The trees have all done so well so far, despite the deer. 

Today’s task was sorting out the plasterboard at the back door for Ryan the plasterer. The ceiling got wet when we sorted the gable end flashing so there is quite a lot to do. The angle section at the front was a total nightmare to sort out. It took about 2 1/2 hrs to put up two bits - there was lots of cursing and sore necks looking up. Hopefully one more day will see this job finished and the plasterer can get into skim it all. 

I also chased out the stone section behind the door - I’ll pick up a bag of lime this week so I can get this done too. 

Gerry the plumber came up this week and drilled a hole through the wall for the boiler flue - that’s next in the list !
