31st August &7th September

 Hello! It’s been over two months since I’ve been up the hill bar a couple of check visits. 

Moya’s operation went well and we got Strathkinness development finally finished. 

Back on the tools ⚒️, the focus is to get the exterior finished. Last weekend we pointed out the corner above the porch and did some window painting. Today was about windows. The two upper bedroom windows have never opened as the sash weights were broken. I managed to source the balance tubes for £40 and Jim helped me fit them. Feeling good about this wee win! The rest of the day was window painting. Another good day should see the exterior windows finished. 

I need to get the materials on site for next weekend for the two weatherboarding sections. So much to do - best not to look at the big picture, just keep chipping away. 

In other news .. the pond was overflowing, Jim cleared the overflow pipe for me - thank you, and the trees are doing so well! Loads of them popping up over their tubes, so great to see. It was a gorgeous day too ☀️☀️
